A staple in the Fanwood downtown and not a part of Nicks monopoly, the bagels here are fresh and in a great variety for a family business. Breakfast is my favorite! They’re Taylor ham is spot on and the home fries are awesome! This spot has been around as long as I can remember and it’s never changed. Nor should it. Keep it up guys! We love you!

People are friendly, and the bagels are vintage NY-style. Yes, they only take cash, but there’s a PNC across the street. So no biggie ! Good people, and it has a neighborhood feel. The thing I love is that the bagels aren’t “chewy” white bread like at Clark Bagel, etc. These are the perfect blend of soft and crispy. This is how bagels should be done.

I crave an everything bagel with cream cheese from Fanwood bagel almost every morning. It has the perfect ratio of toppings, which isn’t always easy to find. The cream cheese has a great, slightly whipped consistency. Very glad to have this place nearby. I have been coming here for many years and never disappointed. I love The Lox on bagel, and their breakfast sandwiches are excellent.
